White rust survey

Looking for and collecting plants infected by the white rust around the world.

Albugo candida's hosts

Albugo candida, responsible for the white rust, is capable of invading more than 200 plants, mostly from the Brassicaceae family. This family, also called Cabbage family or Cruciferae, is one of the most distinctive families with its four petals arranged crosswise. They have four sepals and the leaves are alternate (rarely opposite), sometimes organized in basal rosettes. They have six stamens, four of which are longer and arranged in a cross like the petals. The shape of the fruits, called seed-pods, is quite important in order to identify Brassicaceae species. They can be triangular like those of Shepherd's Purse, flattened (Thale Cress), closely pressed to the stem (Hedge Mustard), circular (Field Penny-Cress), segmented (Wild radish)...
I am particularly interested to find infections on the species that you can see on the left menu. However, I will be delighted if you could find infections on other species such as those that are on this list.
