Both infections were only occurring on the stem (this time also on the fruits - bottom photo). I could not see any pustules on the leaves which differs from the other hosts I have been sampling. |

 09-05-14Alyssum saxatile, Viozene, Ormea, Italy |  08-05-14Capsella bursa-pastoris, first sample collected during a sampling trip to Italy with Marco Thines and Young-Joon Choi. Throughout the trip, a new storing/collection technique was tested following MT and Y-JC's method. The samples are first put in a plastic bag then transferred to a paper bag. The species could not be identified with certainty as fruits were not developed yet.
